CARRERA BILINGÜE

ULACIT offers the only interdisciplinary bilingual business bachelor’s program in Central America. The program is designed to prepare students for careers in the increasingly internationalized global environment. The objective of the program is to give equal weight to all of the major business areas of economics, finance, management and marketing in an international context, and thereby to provide the students with a broad foundation of knowledge which is applicable to large and small organizations serving domestic as well as global markets. 

Continuous changes in communications, transportation, technology, trade, and financial flows have significantly modified the concepts of time, distance, and markets. What happens in one country can have a great impact in the economies, politics, and markets of other parts of the world. The Bilingual Business Bachelor’s curriculum offers a versatile program of study for learning practical skills and specific knowledge that produces excellent candidates for a variety of business careers, including government agencies at the national and international level, multinational corporations, and international nongovernmental organizations. It is based on a curriculum designed to prepare students for a world that is increasingly international and technological, where skills, knowledge, and perspective are essential for success. The major emphasizes the development of quantitative, analytical, writing, presentation, language, and computer skills; it promotes knowledge of how business actually operates in global markets;and it gives students the ability to synthesize information and solve problems.

Upon completion of the program, the graduate may work in the following occupations:

De acuerdo con los datos públicos de CONESUP la carrera de Administración de Empresas Bilingüe de la Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología fue aprobada en el acta de la sesión número #493-2003 celebrada el 19 de Noviembre del año 2003.

• Approve all subjects in the curriculum.
• Attend to four extra-curricular activities.
• Attend to field trip for each enrolled academic term.
• Approve English Proficiency Test.
• Approve three Technological Proficiency Modules (TPM), or the equivalent of 96 hours of effective instruction.
• Complete 150 hours of University Community Work (TCU).
• Be current in all program related financial commitments.
